Carrie J. is the Chief of Operations for McNulty International, parent company for multiple small businesses in the Atlanta area. Carrie J. carries a Bachelors of Science degree from HBCU Tennessee State University and a Masters in Public Service Management from DePaul University. Carrie J. also sits on the Board of Directors for a Chicago Public School (CPS) after school Literacy program called “Think Outside the Box”. Carrie J. is a member of NAPW (National Association of Professional Women) and Toastmasters International, where she was the Vice President of Education.
Zabrina Evans
Vice President
Zabrina is the Director of School Quality with Chicago Public School, Office of Education; providing oversight for compliance and operations for 43 Alternative Schools. She has approximately 10 years of experience combined working to enroll and advise students in an alternative school setting. Throughout her career she has utilized strong articulation, communication, organizational, and relationship building skills. She is also the 1st Lady of Freedom Temple Church and sole Director over there yearly girls conference entitled
"Just Us Girls". She is a devoted wife, and an amazing mother to two boys.
Mia Hicks
Board Treasurer
Mia H. is the Business Manager at Centers for New Horizons. She monitors the Early Care and Education department revenue at the three Child Care centers. As well as upholding relationships with the Early Care and Education funders; Chicago Public School (CPS) and The Chicago Department of Family & Support Services (DFSS). Mia has over seven years of advertising/special events experience along with valued client relationships gained through her communication skills, demonstrated leadership and organizational work ethic. She is also serving her fifth year as a member of LaRabida’s Volunteer Advisory Council.
She is a devoted wife and the new mommy of a baby boy!

La Toya B. is currently the Program Director of I'm Pretty Too!. She is also the devoted mother of two.
